Appearance : Aiko has curly red hair, which is cut short save for a long braid next to her right ear. Her skin is heavily tanned, and her eyes are dark brown. She is tall, 5'8, and a little gangly - though she's seventeen she hasn't much of a figure - she's cute rather than beautiful.
Personality : Aiko is happy-go-lucky, looks up to her older brothers, and acts just like one of the guys. She has a silly sense of humor and loves simply being with people, liking to be part of a group. She loves to fish, swim, and be near the water or on the beach, and cares deeply about her family. Aiko also finds dating to be a bother - her older brother made a bet with her that she would be married by the time she was twenty. Just to prove him wrong, she refuses to date - and ended up falling for another girl in their small hold. Despite her inability to be involved in a normal relationship/dragonflight/what-have-you, Aiko has a good attitude and cares deeply for everyone she befriends.
History : Aiko grew up with her five brothers in Southern hold
as a fisherwoman - the scars on her legs come from a run-in with a rocky
beach when her skiff overturned. Her mother died when she was eight,
and her younger two brothers are half brothers. She gets along well
with her step mother, who tried to teach her manners and failed for the
most part, though she did instill in Aiko a sense of duty. Aiko saw
another girl who lived in their hold for almost four years before she was
searched and has stood once, watching her friends impress while the dragons
looked her over.

Dragon personality: A cocky blue, Sonyth loves to show off at every opportunity. He's quite the lady's man, er, dragon, so to speak, and loves being involved in flights whether he wins or loses. He is at once the bane and highlight of Aiko's existence.
